English 4: Post 2: The best holidays

 The best vacation I’ve ever had was in February 2019 before the pandemic started, it’s been about 3 years, we decided with my mom and dad to travel to the south of Chile, but the best part of this story is that we decided to travel with my 3 dogs, we had never travel with them, so it was quite an adventure. 

We traveled for about three weeks, we visited beautiful places like Puerto Varas, Lago de Todos los Santos, Frutillar, Puerto Montt, Villa Rica, Pucón, Ranco, among other places I don’t remember at this time. We drove a couple of hours and decided on the same road in which city we would stay, that made it even more exciting, we had to look for cabins that would accept us with the three dogs, that was the hardest part, although they were very good girls, we had no problems. Looking for places to eat was also part of the adventure, restaurants that accepted pets, the key was to eat outdoors, I really think it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had, to be accompanied with my pets and my parents was really fun.

 When I was a kid, I didn’t really know what I wanted to be when I grew up, I once thought of being a model, then I find out I had to stop eating to be very skinny and I didn’t like the idea, I also thought of being a veterinarian, because I really like animals.  When I finished high school and had to choose what to study, I was only interested in the career I’m studying today, so I applied to food engineering at the university of Chile as a first option and to the university of Santiago as a second option.  The truth is that I was selected in my first choice, so it was a simple decision, university life so far has been very long, too long in my opinion, in general I like my career and thanks to volunteer work I have met many people, that to this day are my dearest friends.  I would like to work independently, have my own company, where I am my boss, where I can control my working hours and the people with whom I relate, that would make me very happy.

My Favorite Movie

  Hello, generally I’m not very good at watching movies, I fall asleep or I get distracted easily, but I think one of my favorite movies, is "The book of the jungle", the first time I saw it I was a little child and I fell in love with it, I don’t know if it were the animals, or that I just thought I was mowgli, the main character. I usually like to watch comedy or romantic movies, nothing very complicated, for me to watch a movie is to relax, distract and not suffer for what I’m watching, although in some cases I make exceptions, as it is with the last movie I saw, "La mirada incendiada" It’s a Chilean movie,  which has a female director named Tatiana Gaviola,the film tells the story based on the so-called burnt case of dictatorship, I bought the ticket, because I am interested in supporting Chilean cinema, It is a nice story, and when you known that the story is real you whatch it with anxiety and the truth is that it is very shocking, terrible and of course very

 Hello everyone, today I will tell you about one of the most beautiful activities I have ever known, this is volunteer work, since I was a little girl I always wanted to participate in some activity like this one, but when I arrived at the university I discovered the jobs that the Federation of students was doing, the truth is I was very afraid to participate, but finally and with a lots of nerves I traveled with the other students, always thinking that if I did not like it I could return to santiago, it was a wonderful experience, I fell in love with the activities they did, they had areas to work with children, adults, animals and  elderlies,  many places from where you can contribute to the community, another thing that surprised me was their organization, there were area coordinators and general coordinators, people in charge of transport and food, is very nice the work they do and of course they motivated me to continue working with them and go from being a volunteer to the genera
